  For those of you not acquainted with me-I am warm, loving, humorous, joyful and deeply interested in a spiritual life. I invest my art with the life affirming energy that I receive from my Judaic studies. My husband, who has received his PhD.in psychology also does Spiritual Seminars, and the research that I help him with in both of those endeavors finds its way into my work also. Sometimes I am so excited about my work that I "just can't sit still". My primary medium is the unusual one of Rusty Recycled Metal. I take something once discarded and transform it into something beautiful and desired that brings pleasure and joy to someone's life.  I have begun a new style of work that I hope to post in hte near future. these are small works on canvas that incorporate photos of Jewish women from Europe taken before 1939. I received these photos from my husband's family. There is quite a story to them-I hope that I am honoring the memory of these people by creating a narrative between myself, the viewer and the image of the person in the painting.  I am also making mixed media collages using small metal collages housed in handmade Sanctuary boxes.
