Spice Box Seranade

This piece began when I found the central rusty Spice Box off the road on top of a mesa in Western Colorado. I treasured it for a few years, and then it took on a new life. This is what I find so exciting about my current medium of recycled metal. The continual possibility of ntransformation infuses my life and has become a kind of mantra for me. Change...It is available not only to rusty spice box and old buttons but my work is a metaphor for the possibility for humans to change and grow. (There are antique stamps and jewels adorning the sides of the box.) This piece is 7 1/2" high and is $250. Of course, it is one-of-a kind.
