Blow the Shofar at the Monn's Renewal Rosh Hashanah New Year's Card
From the back of the card:
Three types of sounds are made with the shofar - curved ram's horn that is blown on Rosh Hashanah. Each sound signifies a different type of human cry. There is a cry for what is already gone in the past, a cry of hurt, and a cry of hope for the future. It is this last sound that marks our hope for the coming year and infuses the rich coloration of this watercolor paintingby Arel. The Jewish people are compared in the Talmud to the moon because just as the moon renews itself every month, so do the Jewish people continually renew their hope and faith. We feel this every year when we hear the blowing of the shofar.
All cards come with matching envelope. Sets of 6 cards come in a clear plastic box and are also suitable for giving as a gift.
