"May You Be Inscribed in the Book of Life" Rosh Hashanah Jewish New Year's Card
From the back of the card:
On Rosh Hashanah, G-d opens the Book of Life and all human beings are judged. Arel depicts here a Heh, the fifth letter of the Aleph-Bet. In the Jewish spiritual tradition the Heh represents this world: it is open underneath and the way to ascend is also open, but it requires effort and vision to find one’s way. The vine symbolizes the journey we traverse. The pomegranate, full of seeds, is one of the symbolic foods at the Rosh Hashanah meal and represents our prayer that our merits increase in the new year to be as numerous as the seeds of the pomegranate.
All cards come with matching envelope. Sets of 6 cards come in a clear plastic box and are also suitable for giving as a gift.
