On the Hamsa, a traditional symbol of Mazel is the Hebrew word "Mazel", and the eye symbolizes turning away the evil eye. Pomegranates, one of the seven species of Biblical fruits associated with Israel, is the fruit filled with seeds, symbolizing the many possibilities life holds at every turn if we can but see them.
